Court-Ordered
Mediation
While
court-ordered mediation is often an effective and efficient way
to resolve a lawsuit, arranging a mediation conference can be
a time-consuming task for an attorney and his or her staff. We
at Intercede understand that time is money, and we make arranging
a mediation as simple as picking up the telephone or sending us
an email. Intercede can assist an attorney faced with arranging
a conference by taking care of all aspects of the mediation, including:
Obtaining
consent to appoint a mediator from all parties involved; |
Filing
the designation of mediator with the court; |
Substituting
a new mediator in case of a conflict with a previously designated
mediator; |
Requesting
extensions of time in which to complete the mediation; |
Arranging
the date, time and location of the mediation conference; |
Rescheduling
the mediation, if necessary. |
To
