Court-Ordered Mediation

While court-ordered mediation is often an effective and efficient way to resolve a lawsuit, arranging a mediation conference can be a time-consuming task for an attorney and his or her staff. We at Intercede understand that time is money, and we make arranging a mediation as simple as picking up the telephone or sending us an email. Intercede can assist an attorney faced with arranging a conference by taking care of all aspects of the mediation, including:

Obtaining consent to appoint a mediator from all parties involved;
Filing the designation of mediator with the court;
Substituting a new mediator in case of a conflict with a previously designated mediator;
Requesting extensions of time in which to complete the mediation;
Arranging the date, time and location of the mediation conference;
Rescheduling the mediation, if necessary.

To initiate appointment of a mediator, please contact Intercede. We will begin making the arrangements as soon as we receive the information. If you prefer, you may telephone us at the number listed at the top of this page.
